1. The annual preventive care budget

This budget is a fixed component for preventive measures and is available to the member annually.

Availability: Only in the Krankenschutz (Full Cover) plan with a selected maximum annual benefit of at least €1,500.
Budget amount: Choice of €70 or €100 per policy year (depending on the plan configuration).‍
Waiting period: No waiting period applies to the preventive care budget. It can be used from the first day of insurance coverage.

2. Covered services within the preventive care budget

Prevention: Protective vaccinations, deworming, treatments against parasites (fleas, ticks).
Preventive checks: Health check-ups, tartar removal (prophylactic).
Procedures: Neutering or sterilization (even without medical indication).‍
Documents: Issuance of health certificates or travel documents (e.g., EU pet passport).

3. Inclusive Services (Additional services without budget deduction)

These services are "on top" and reduce neither the preventive care budget nor the maximum annual benefit (provided they are handled via partners):
