Which vaccinations are important for dogs in Germany?
According to the Standing Committee on Vaccination in Veterinary Medicine (StIKo Vet) at the Friedrich Loeffler Institute, there are vaccinations that should under no circumstances be neglected for dogs (StIKo Vet Vaccination Recommendations for Dogs (FLI)).

How much does a vaccination for dogs cost?
The costs for a vaccination for a dog in Germany depend on several factors, including the type of vaccination, the location of the veterinary practice, and the number of vaccines per appointment. Billing is based on the Fee Schedule for Veterinarians (GOT), which specifies a fee framework. Depending on the effort, a vaccination can be charged at the single, double, or in exceptional cases up to the quadruple GOT rate. Additionally, costs for the general examination and the vaccine usually apply. For basic immunization, you must therefore usually expect about €50 to €80 per vaccination; booster vaccinations are often slightly cheaper.
